How can I browse the artworks offered in the gallery?

  • You can browse the artworks by artist, by artist grouped in genres, or by theme. You do not need to be an expert to find something you like!

  • If you want us to show you a customized selection based on your tastes or any other criteria such as dimension or color, just ask us.

  • If you look for something specific that you can't find here, please let us know. We will reach our network of artists and dealers to help you.

 

Can I physically view an artwork?

  • If you cannot make up your mind, we can arrange a free private viewing. Private viewing is always possible in the city where the artwork is located. That information is indicated in each artwork's description window.

  • If you are interested in a private viewing outside an artwork's location, we can arrange it on an exceptional basis.

  • Again, we encourage you to contact us to discuss about the possibility of a private viewing.

 

How can I be certain that the artworks are authentic?

  • Our works come from carefully selected sellers â€“ artists, galleries and private collectors.

  • We enquire about and eventually document the provenance of each artwork we propose.

  • Whenever one is available, we provide a certificate of authenticity, a document most often delivered by the artists themselves.

  • Finally, whenever possible, we provide a picture of the artist beside the work you purchase.​ 

How can I purchase artworks from the gallery?

  • By clicking on the "Add to Cart" button in a product window, an artwork will be added to your "Cart".

  • To review your "Cart", click on the "Cart: X" button on the top right corner of your screen (X is the number of artworks you have selected).

  • If you would like further information regarding an artwork, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

What are the payment options?

  • You can pay your artwork(s) either by Paypal or by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express).

  • We use secured payment technologies (we do not have access to payment data).

 

Why are shipping costs added to artworks price?

  • In the "Cart" page, you need to select the location where you want your artwork(s) to be delivered. If your country is not listed in the drop-down menu, please contact us and we will add it.

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on market rates, which vary according to the delivery location. For that reason, we cannot include them directly in artworks' price.

  • If you want to pick up an artwork yourself at its location (that information is indicated in product windows), please contact us so that we remove or reimburse you the shipping costs.

 

What about taxes?

  • Eventual "Taxes" appear below "Shipping costs" in the "Cart" page.

  • As of now, due to our fiscal setup, we do not levy VAT nor any other taxes on sales.

  • As a buyer, you may be liable for import taxes in the country of delivery, depending on that country's legislation. If import taxes are applicable, you will in most cases be required to reimburse the tax amount to the carrier who will make the payment on your behalf.

  • On an exceptional basis, the Customs authority of the country of delivery may contact you and request you to directly pay the import taxes in order to release your shipment.

 

Can I know more about import taxes?

  • We recommand you to contact your local authorities as we are not allowed to provide fiscal advice.

 

How do I know that my order went through?

  • Shortly after your payment is received, you will receive an email confirmation containing your invoice.

When will I receive my artworks?

  • Unless you come to pick them up yourselves, we do our best so that you receive your artworks within 10 days after receipt of your payment.

  • When you order has been shipped, we will send you by email a tracking number allowing you to monitor your shipment status.

 

How are artworks packed and delivered?

  • We individually package artworks according to their shape, size, weight and fragility, with the help of packaging professionals. The most frequently used packages are triple-wall corrugated boards, wood crates, tubes and reinforced letters.

  • Artworks are delivered by professional carriers that we identified as offering the best quality for price service.

  • You will receive a tracking number allowing you to monitor your shipment status.

  • If you live close to where the artwork is (that information is indicated in product windows), you can pick it up yourself, lowering your cost (and doing good for the planet!).

 

Are artworks insured during the shipping?

  • We fully insure (ad valorem insurance) artworks upon transportation in order to minimize your risks.

  • The price of such insurance is included in the shipping cost you see in the "Cart" page.

 

What should I do if an artwork appears damaged upon delivery?

  • Do not worry as we will fully reimburse you.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible at info@kochigallery.com, clearly describing the damage and illustrating it with various pictures. Please note that you need to keep the original packaging.

  • After we confirm the damage, you will need to return the artwork in its original packaging. You will be reimbursed the return shipping costs as well as the amount you paid within 10 days after we receive the artworks back.

Do you have a return policy?

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply notify us through our Contact page and we will walk you through the return process.

  • Our return policy spans over 14 days from the delivery date, whatever the reason, unless otherwise stated in your invoice (commissionned artworks may exclude return policy).

  • We will reimburse you the amount you paid within 10 days after we receive the work back, the return shipping costs being at your charge.

  • All reimbursements are made by bank transfer or Paypal to the account of your choice.

  • Please note that it is preferable that you return the works in their original packaging, which are compliant with carriers' standards.

 

What about data privacy?

  • Never will we communicate any of your personal information to third parties. We, as everyone, hate spams!

  • Your payment details are not seeable by us. Our payment technologies are state-of-the-art safe.

  • CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés) has authorized us to retain data about our clients. If you want to access, amend or modify data our record contain, please contact us.
